Zakopane, Poland 22 until 28 May 2005
In May 2005 we went to Zakopane in Poland.
It was after an invitation of our friends Agata, Marcin, Beata and Piotr to discover Poland more that we went by car to the South of Poland.
Zakopane is a beautiful area for making exiting trips into the mountains. Even in that period there was still snow on the top of the mountains. Walking in the snow with a t-shirt was for us a new and nice experience.
Zakopane is known for its unspoiled nature and marvellous landscape. The Tatra mountains are the highest Polish mountains and is for many years a protected National Park. Zakopane is also known as a ski sport centre and the conditions for hiking and climbing are excellent, but also in other times in a Year it is magnificent to visit the area.
